Theres been a windows phone out for a little over 2yrs now I believe that I know can show 41MP RAWS already and has always been able to.

Eh, I guess it's okay, but I don't think it's a huge deal. Nothing on the phone side of things has even come close to even entry level DSLRs yet. I have a Nokia Lumia 1020 and I ALWAYS bring my DSLR with me if I'm traveling somewhere.

So can the new Nexus 6. It's going to be a feature of Lolipop. So, it won't be anything special for much longer.

The newer processors will also have much improved camera specs compared to the 800 and lower.

well i did not know that there where phones shooting raw's but TBH im not in to nokia's and windows phones (i'm android  fan boy) 

 

why would a phone need to shoot in raw though :|

it will give you ability of correcting what you camera ruined with auto or semi-auto settings 

opens wide window of different compositions/exposures some times not possible to get with DSLR 

 

i wish my note 3 was able to do so :(

after watching that tek syndicate video i actually made a mistake posting that comment LOL. im actually glad it does shoot in raw. i actually want the iPhone to have a raw shooting capability (im an apple fanboy hehe) this will save me from bringing my dslr everytime :P + an sd card slot for the iPhone so the raw files dont take up that much space.
