water cooling gpu w/ h60

Hey guys i saw this video on  youtube and want toed to do it w/ me spare h60 and i want to know if their is a better way to do this or if i would come acroll any problems

Uhh yeah...there's no cooling at all for the other components of the GPU like the VRM and memory modules, other than the airflow of your case...which I doubt is enough since they don't probably even have any heatsinks

I don think that works with the h60

I'm not sure you will have to research it

I did pretty much the same thing with a GTX 580 and an H50. The only thing you need to watch out for is the vrm and memory temps, its very easy for them to overheat without a fan blowing on them. I have a blower style card with the shroud removed, but had to keep the fan attached to cool them, especially when overclocking.

kk so i can mount a h60 w/ the zipties and put a 120mm fan blowing on the vrms (the video card i want to do this on is a msi r9 270x im getting this week end)

and can you post a pic of your setup?

and can you post a pic of your setup?

 

I've upgraded my gpu and case so it's no longer in a complete computer, but I threw together what I had to give you the gist. The H50 pump/waterblock is very bulky because it was one of the first AIO coolers available and hung down too low, so I had to be creative with the location of my PSU  :D
