Making a Clear Window, Red? (NZXT S340)

SavingPrincess

Just wondering if there's any way to cleanly change the color of the side panel window of a case (specifically the S340 from NZXT).  I was thinking about trying to remove the window and use some sort of dye, or covering it in some sort of transparent cellophane, but I don't want to increase the opacity very much (obviously it would increase a little by changing the color).

Any ideas?

Remove window, get a huge pot. Bring pot to boil, turn off. Put window in with dye. Let sit till satisfied.

Idk, I just know this is the method used for dying plastic at home.

There are colored window/ headlight tints you can get on eBay or amazon that apply similarity like winding films onto the acrylic itself.

FYI, take window to a glass shop and get them to make a copy of it with better glass or plastic depending on the shop.

The plastic is not the best IMO and it is what I am doing for my build inside that case..

there are automotive window tint kits that you can use to tint acrylic. but be

warned the acrylic used in the S340 is very prone to scratch and scratches

not be easily removed.
