im just looking for something that will last longer than a year because that ocz terex 450 only lasted bout 3 months sadly

A good SSD should last that long and the Crucial MX100 and Samsung 840 Evo are good drives

im in help with buying a new ssd after my ocz vertex failed on me(i learnt my lesson from it) 

 

and i want help with buying a new one, whats the best i can get for under 100 pounds?

 

preferred 240GB but i have tried a sandisk but no luck with them either.hope you can help :)

Sandisk Extreme II's are available for under 100GBP, and the Extreme Pro are a bit more and they are pretty much the most reliable drives out there close to your price bracket, as well as phenomenal performance.

 

Samsung 840EVO or Crucial MX100 will do though.
