you might have to use X360CE to emulate a Xbox 360 controller for most games. Though I'd just get a wired 360 controller as @Tripnator said

INTEL CORE I5 4670K | NVIDIA GTX 980 | NOCTUA NH-L9i | GIGABYTE GA-Z97X-SLI | KINGSTON 120GB V300

CM STORM QUICKFIRE TK | BENQ XL2420TE | ROCCAT SAVU | FRACTAL DEFINE R4

You would probably need something like MotioninJoy to get it working unless it automatically adapts the controller to be shown as a 360 one.

There are adapters that convert the PS2 controller plug to USB so you can use it in PC or PS3. Maybe you should look for that.

Spoiler

Scarlet Crush drivers for DualShock are a great alternative to Motioninjoy.

Actually you can order one from eBay. You have to make sure it's a specific brand. I have ordered one and it works quite well no hassle needed just plug and play all buttons works. And the adapter is fairly cheap.

If you interested I could link you to one so you can purchase.
