Do any modern devices use the PS/2 port anymore?

I know some mechanical keyboards have it as an option, to circumvent something with the USB, but what about mice these days?

Nope, a lot of motherboards do not even have PS2 or just have one combo jack

The only reason to usb PS2 with a keyboard is either for Nkey rollover.. which most people dont really care about

I can't even remember the last time I used a non-USB / Bluetooth mouse. It seems like USB is just going to take over everything nowadays; Next stop: 3.5mm Audio.

Really? My FM2A88M-HD+ has both ports. I figured that the ports are still around for a reason... apparently not.

Some boards do, especially cheaper boards that might be used with cheaper/older equiptment

But generally there is absolutely no reason to use PS2

Not likely.

What would mobile devices use for audio then? (

A new bus though is always welcomed.

Maybe we'll see the start of Micro/Mini-USB headphones? Look at the amount of USB headphones on the PC side of things as it stands.

The only real use a ps2 keyboard has aside from  nkey rollover is that it would work in the bios when usb keyboards give you trouble.

It needs a dedicated spot, is hard to plug in, gets bent pins easily and its not plug and play (for when your wireless keyboard runs out of batteries or something),

so good riddance ps2,

I hope not. USB headsets are the worst and doesn't have the flexibility of standard 3.5mm.

ACTUALLY, high end mobos sometimes have a single ps2 jack for diagnostic purposes should say the usb drivers fail.

That'd be the day. Or if everyone went USB and you'd finally have a use for the "Made for the iPhone iPod iPad" Labels on some headphones.
