Taskbar icons in windows 8 have disappeared

Ok I was running space sniffer then all of a sudden this happened.... 5a0196fd25.jpgany ideas?

Kill windows explorer process or reboot, should fix.

Kill windows explorer process or reboot, should fix.

I've fixed it, I have to open all the programs again and pin them again. The blank icons stay though, even though they're associated with a program, a bit strange but hey.

This is a sign of corruption. 

I've just reinstalled windows like 1 month ago and it was a pain in the ass. I have 2 drives that might be why it has two program links in the taskbar.

This is a sign of corruption. 

Shouldn't be necessary, I had this problem and it magically fixed itself.
