Foundation 5 buttons in containing div not working

Hi! I'm using the CSS/JS version of Foundation 5, by the way. Downloaded Foundation last night and I haven't had much luck getting buttons to work.

I have a div called .main - it's just a transparent banner with a bit of shadow. Problem is, whenever I try to pop a button inside it, the button doesn't function. It works perfectly when it's not inside the div. Help?

DISCLAIMER: I'm a complete beginner with Foundation 5 and CSS3 in general. If it was something obvious, I apologize :P
