Reference = loud.

They make non-reference cards for a reason

Are there any slots between the cards? Also which ones do you ha E because the default profile on my evga superclocked's was pretty quiet but I do have great case air flow.

Have you considered software control for the fans using something like MSI afterburner?

something i hav ebeen wondering about is that my msi gtx 970 is making noise , although the fans arent spinning...happens alot in csgo( 300fps) and sometimes on bf 4 (120fps) or tomb raider (100fps)w. IF the fans start to spin i cant hear them cause my case fans are a tiny bit louder...the card barely ever hits 60degrees, i use an i5 4460 with an aftermarket silent cooler.

its really annoying when the graphic card fans are off but i still can hear the card,anyone knows why is it making noise? it sounds like its overloading... should i give it back and get a new one ( i live in germany so i wont get one till next year mostlikely,they are all sold out)

they are evga superclocked. case is 750d

thats prob part of your problem

750d is not exactly a high airflow case

and with no fan slots on the side they are never going to be frosty or silent

may be time to consider watercooling?

or maybe put more fans in your case if there is room for any

How are your cards getting that hot? Only way that's possible for me is to turn the fan down to 40%.

What's your current fan setup in the case?

I suggest you try software fan control and define your own fan profile. You could even tweak gpu boost to allow higher temps while your at it.

Another suggestion I have would be to add a fan to the bottom of the case as a intake.

Depending on fan and case setup there actually isn't all that much.

Well you better never want more than two HDDs then.
