@Demons Wrath so if the i7 performs only a little better than the 8350 whats the point of droping and extra $150 on the i7 than paying $180 for something just a tad slower?

It isn't a little bit better, in most instances it's around 15%-25% better depending on the application. My point was if you already had the 8350 the benefit wouldn't be justified in getting the i7, but since you have neither going with the 8350 other the i7 would be madness. It's worth the extra cash for a new build but not the extra cash for upgrading an existing 8350 based build, because it would have meant you had to buy both in order to do that.

@Demons Wrath also, question is it better to have 4 sticks of ram installed on your mobo or just the 2 you suggested?

 

Z97 is DDR3, and the Z97 platform is dual channel, 2 is perfect. 4 runs in dual channel twice.
