Radiator Fans

Guest

I would like to know if this would be ok.

1. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835129070&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC-_-pla-_-Case+Fans-_-N82E16835129070&gclid=CITy5bTuwMECFQ4LMgodUU8AMg

Keep in mind im not going to split hairs if the temperature difference will be 2-3 degrees.

If not I would like to have some suggestions along the same lines as these (i.e. silent and aesthetically appealing). NO corsair sp fans.

Thanks for your help

Aerocool makes really good fans, get them.

Shame I can't get one of those

They should do quite well, but keep in mind those aren't PWM fans so their won't be automatic control.

If you would prefer PWM, Akasa Apache/Rosewill Hyperborea, *Cougar Vortex PWM, Enermax TwisterPressure, Gelid Wing 12 PL.

(Recommend vertical mounting only, never heard the issues myself but many complaints of a motor related noise in horizontal mounts.)

INTEL CORE i5-7600K | ASUS ROG STRIX B250i GAMING | CRUCIAL BALLISTIX SPORT LT 16GB | EVGA GTX 970 SC | EVGA B3 550W
SAMSUNG 850 EVO 250GB | CRYORIG M9i | BE QUIET! PURE WINGS 2| FRACTAL DESIGN DEFINE NANO S

Depends on the quality of the fan. For example, I haven't come across any Hyperboreas or Noctuas with this issue.

I've got 4 or 5 of them in my house (The Cougars), all mounted horizontally, with the exception of 1 that was just horizontal in my hand, and none of them make/made any unusual sounds. But due to a decent number of complaints I mention it when I recommend them.
