Razer deathadder 2013 vs chroma

kristian801

Hey guys,

I have DA 3.5g , but I'd like to replace it after 4 good years. What I've heard from Linus's video is that Chroma's clicks are better but has anyone tried it out? Im probably going to go with the 2013 version(because of price and availability), but the click being too light is a slight worry for me.Is it much lighter than 3.5g's? So , which one would you recommend?

Thank you.

Logitech G502

Mainly playing LoL and CS:GO , so I dont need all those buttons, but still why do you recommend that mouse over DA?

because razer poopadder is mad by razer, logitech has high precision tracking and longer warranty.

and better software.

and that is not a mmo mouse. it's an FPS mous.

It's a keyboard.

I don't know about 2012 version, but 2013 one is pretty light, "hyper respond", I find it no problem to use. For me DA Chroma heavier click is a deal breaker for me, only reason I buy Razer mouse is because of the light click, So i will go with G502 with this one, better, cheaper. Unless you want RGB colour.

Edit: And ah, if you decided to go with DA, beware the new DA isn't as good as the old one in term of quality control. You might get some good one, you might get some bad one like me.

I have the Chroma. My roomate has a Mamba (which's like the DA 3.5g). I gotta say it feels pretty much the same. I believe Linus gotta be really sensitive to be able to tell the difference between the force you need to click it.

So far so good, best mouse I've ever used. 10K dpi is kinda stupid but I just love it a 3000~3600.

Razer makes very nice mice. Their keyboards aren't too great but the mice are good.

Don't try to act cool by bashing Razer.

HA, I've owned the Mamba and the Ourborous, 2 of Razer's mose expensive mice, and non of them hold a candle to the Logitech G700s, or the G502, or the Corsair M65, or the Steelseries Wireless, or pretty much any mice you can buy for anywhere near that price. Did I mention that they both broke and Razer took their sweet ass time to replace them which promptly broke down again right after the warranty.

Razer is like beats of the peripherals world, except that Beats is getting better

Razer's products are fine, stop hating. List pros and cons instead of crying about how Razer is shit and Logitech is god. Might as well mention how all of Logitech's keyboards are complete trash.

Price doesn't denote quality also, the Mamba and Ourborous are probably shitty mice. I've used a Deathadder for the past 2 years, and I've had no problems, and I have friends who had Deathaddders from 3.5G and they've had no problems, obviously this person's mouse isn't the garbage you make it out to.

Ontopic: This is really difficult to assess as we don't know how heavy you lay your fingers on your mouse, what grip, and what you prefer in a mouse click. Your best option is to go to a tech store and hope they have them on display, but my 2013 edition is still working fine and I don't find a problem with the click being too light.

both the 2013 and chroma probably use omron switches for the lmb and rmb; shouldn't be any significant difference in the mouse button feel.
