Not everyone is bothered by that :P especially as you pay for that privilege (though you are telling the truth)

Yeah, that would be pretty cool, have you looked into getting it done? just submit your CAD design to a metal fab?

Fair enough, you seem to have your heart set on the Cosmos, I would go for that

 

 

As I say, personally I prefer the design of the 900d, but it depends what fits best with the aesthetic you are hoping to achieve

i love the design of the cosmos but the amount of modding needed will be allot of work... however the 900 is just as appealing but will need little to no modifications and has the addition of nice amount of space inside to work with... cost wise they are more or less the same and they will both fit my concept just as well

Then it depends how arsed you can be :P I just like the big window and neater footprint of the 900d but I guess that is subjective

If you have the money to spend, sure, but if it means compromising your budget, just to get a nicer case, personally that is the first thing to go (hence my 300r) although even my cheap case looks nice and does a great job keeping my rig cool, and I didn't have to drop my CPU/GPU to get it into my budget

Cosmos 2 but i find fairly too large

I would go with the Cosmos 2.

 

I think the very simple design of the 900D will not be as good a base for your mod with the kind of style I guess you have in mind.(?)

 

The Cosmos2 with all its nooks and crannies will make for an excellent case to mod in my opinion. Plus the case without mods already stands out!

Plus I don't like windows on my cases so the Cosmos 2 takes the cake for me.

Yeah, my case costs more than GPU+mb

See... I want to see the finished case now!

 

The issue with cases is, that the look is so subjective, especially if you want to mod it even further. 

Go with the one you can envision you mod best with.

Yeah , see Im not bothered enough to spend it, I would rather spend it on camera lenses and airsoft guns :P

Haha :P well you dont have to do the whole "brass tubes" and special case, since it adds 0 performance

 

then you can just go shoe shopping instead, I reckon for the price of a cosmos you could get a really nice pair of shoes

i plan to do a photoshoot with it the build when im done... not all the pics will be posted on here though :| and will do a build log for sure...#
