Iphone 6 Explodes in mans pocket.

XTankSlayerX

5a3e261a36.jpg

Everything with a battery can explode and probably will. Has happened to many devices before, nothing new. Just more bad PR for apple if its anything.

Seems very odd, Not sure if click bait but oh well.

Yea I'm sure this is legit and not clickbait. That phone didn't explode in his pocket like that. It may have exploded, but it was bent and punctured the battery causing the explosion. That's a pretty far bend too, definitely not something that someone wearing hipster pants would achieve by just setting down.

The bend is why it exploded. Cause and effect.

You know after reading some of these replies im wondering if you guys are even reading the sources provided by the OP..

"The harrowing experience began when the pedicab in which Lechter and his family were riding lost its balance and tipped over to the left. He says he was jostled to the point of being half on, half off the rickshaw. After checking to make sure his wife and son were OK, Lechter noticed that something was off about his leg."

Yes.. The phone did get bent and yes it does seem as though the battery was punctured however reading these replies you make it seem as though you think the person had intentionally bent the phone. IF the source is legit then this was nothing more then an accident, Not intentional mistreatment of the device resulting in this mans injuries.

An engineering flaw prevented this one from bending so he used a firecracker to force the bend and not be left out on the "feature"

I run my browser through NSA ports to make their illegal jobs easier. :P
If it's not broken, take it apart and fix it.

That severe bend is impossible if it was in his pocket. I call shenanigans.

Every time a new phone comes out and it has 'exploded'. Usually it's just because the owner decided to use some very bad fake charger. Or the owner just wants attention.

i5 4670k - MSI GTX 770 gaming - Fractal design define R4 (windowed) - MSI Z87-G45 gaming - be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 2 - Corsair vengeance 8 gb (lp) - WB black 1tb - 256GB SSD - Corsair TX 750M - Ducky Shine 3

People really enjoy ripping on Apple, it seems. This, or any of the other 'problems' could have and has happened with any other phone

Even when the new iMac got released, there was a flame topic about it.
