Any experience with Tracfone (America)

dlf

Since I live in the states in the moment . . . . my parents want to change the phones we all have (and use) in December, currently we use Sprint (& my phone anyway) uses HTC. Thinking of changing to: Tracfone anyone have an(y) experience withTracfone? And suggestions for phones we should try to get? Preferably, Android I'd presume and something more recent (4.0 or later)

You mean those phones they sell at Stater Brothers or even Ralphs and Albertsons?

Well, they work, but don't expect much from them.

It's pretty basic really, everything works fine like texting and calling. The coverage isn't phenomenal by any means but again, it works. It's not terrible by any means but it isn't up to par with any of the bigger cell phone providers. Maybe try Ting?: https://ting.com/

I never had an issue with anything except their value. It's better if you want a lot of phone time to go with something like boost or virgin mobile and get a cheapo smart phone or if you don't think you will use much minutes ting is a great option from what I know.

Suggestions for other carriers if (I/we) don't want bland(ish) basic (Android) phones? And or suggestions for android (based) phones for us . . . .

On a serious note, Ting looks like a great option.

Help me I'm surrounded by morons.
