well the dx racer chairs for example are extremely comfortable, high quality and support good posture for prolonged periods of sitting, a lot of office chairs are none of those things,.

yeah but most people do not get 150lbs of chair for free... lol. and in a good proper chair that helps with posture it can get quite comfortable.

the only time I have a good posture is when I'm driving and I feel like I'm in hell have to decline a decent bit to feel comfortable

well if you use a good posture often  especially if you have a chair that supports it eventually it will start to feel comfortable atleast in my experience

In my experience, when I play racing games with my G27 I always keep my feet about 3 inches off the ground to get the best precision from the pedals. This causes my posture to change and require more lumbar support. If I don't have this support, then after about 20-25 minutes I feel an extreme ache and its pretty uncomfortable to stand after that. I recently got a used car seat from a totaled Jetta that I now use for racing games and i would never go back. I'm thinking about using it as my daily driver ba-dum-tss

If you mean DX racer chairs, they are really good value for money. You really can't get good chair under 100€ (£$, you get the point). Mine costs 600€... and I'm planning to either use it as long as it doesn't broke mechanically or sell it if there isn't any other options. But back to point. When I was looking for new chair it was obvious that you can't get good office chairs cheap. Not for tall people like me who need full back support. Or long enough height adjustment. So for their price, DX chairs are really good and comfortable.

I can't even think about paying a tenth of that for a chair

They're comfy as shit. Sure, it's expensive, but if you're sitting in a chair for long periods of time, then it's better to spend money on it, rather than having say, back problems later on

the only time I have a good posture is when I'm driving and I feel like I'm in hell have to decline a decent bit to feel comfortable

Then that's something you should probably change. If you're not sitting in a good posture, and you're sitting for 8 hours a day, that's 8 hours a day you're putting strain on your back

And trust me, your back is not something you want to have problems with. I wouldn't chance it

Doesn't have to be a racing chair, but I'd recommend a good chair if you plan to game for long periods of time. Like any other piece of furniture, good quality stuff costs a sizable chunk of money

There is nothing magical about "racing/gaming" chairs. They are chairs like all other chairs. Get a chair that is comfortable for your body: it could be a "racing/gaming" chair, or it could be a more "mundane" office chair. Do not fall into the gaming marketing trap.
