mITX Motherboard Help

urcuyo

Need help picking a mITX motherboard that is wifi enabled, Bluetooth enabled, has USB 3.0 ports, and has comparability with Intel core i3/i5/i7, and comparability with a graphics card, not only integrated graphics. Looking for the least expensive too. I've done a lot of research but I just can't find the right one. I'd be willing to drop Bluetooth capability if necessary.

Thanks!

If you want to overclock (i5 4690k / i7 4790k), then you should be going z97

MSI makes some good 1150 AC mITX boards. Gigabyte does to. Asus is the bomb but that pricetag is jaring.

I could be very wrong

If you want to overclock, then you should be going z97, if you want to SLI (or have the option to) then you should also go Z97. If you're only ever going to run one gpu, then h97 is fine (assuming youre not overclocking the cpu).

Do these limit me to Windows 32 bit?

It's mini ITX :P can't SLI anyway.

Z97 doesn't affect SLI I don't think, just happens that higher end chipsets have more high end features like SLI.

+1 on the link though.

*derp*

Z97 doesnt specifically affect multi gpu configs, but there are no non Zx7 boards that support SLI.

I personally plan on using the Asus Z97I-Plus. It has everything you want minus the bluetooth. I honestly don't know of one that includes bluetooth; especially the cheaper you go. All the boards will let you run a GPU since they all have a PCIe slot. Just don't expect to run more than one. And you won't be able to get a bluetooth add-in card since your only PCI slot is being used by the GPU. You might be able to find a USB bluetooth though.

I think people heavily underate the Asrock lineup. The Z97e-itx is packed with features and has better audio than the average mini-itx motherboard.

I have an ASUS Z97I-Plus and would highly recommend it. It ticks your boxes too.

Although I don't know if it's the cheapest, I bought mine open box for £66.
