Or will their next cpus be for 2011?

There will be one more generation of CPUs for LGA 1150, and that's Broadwell. For Skylake (after Broadwell) there will be a new LGA 1151 socket.

2011 wil always be for the enthusiast platform (or at least any high pinned socket will)

The next CPUs will be for LGA 1150, with the 9-series/10-series chipsets only. No 8-series.

Higher pinned sockets will always be for enthusiasts, and lower pinned ones will always be for consumer.

most pins in the LGA 1150 socket are redundant power pins. So we have room to expand in LGA 1150

Since base model Haswell-E has 6 cores they will likely keep it 4 cores so the people who need 6 cores will move to X99

Good because i was going to upgrade to Z97 mobo with 4690k core and i wanted to know if they would be the last cores in 1150. This fully answers my question and i feel even more comfortable of what i am going to buy . Also will the chipset go more than Z97?
