Razer Love or Hate? Vote and Share your story

I just thought I'd ask here what's everyone's opinions of razer? I know some love them other hate them I thought I would just share a personal experience and see what everyone else says and what has happened to you!

 

My personal razer story: It was around a year ago that I bought the razer anansi, as I needed a new keyboard. I loved the keyboards look and design, and for what I did it was great. I was EXTREMELY careful with it, and tried my best to keep this keyboard in pristine condition. After about three weeks I went over to my friend's house for a lan party, I plug in the keyboard, and only a green sniper scope symbol with a G in the middle was glowing, nothing else worked etc. This issue also happened on other computers, not just mine. Luckily I bought it at best buy, so a quick return later, and I was good for a few days. Then, a few days later it happens again. Returned again. Two days later, IT HAPPENS A THIRD TIME. By this point I'm livid and just say screw it, get a cheap keyboard from a thrift store and buy a leap motion(which is a decent device). Needless to say after that I will never buy razer again.

 

Has anyone else had a differing experience?

wow, I just hate them since they stopped using Cherry. But I guess their laptops and (project christine) are good.

I don't love them I don't hate them too I'd still buy their products If I can really see a benefit

I don't use their products, not because they are junk or anything like that but because I have found what are in my mind better products for ME. I like the look of some of their mouses and the blackwidow is nice KB (except the green BL wrecks it). Headphones yea okay I will say I just don't like them for whatever reason.

I actually buy all my peripherals if I can from local big box stores - saves me the hassle of mailing returns for items that I may just not like because I couldn't test them out piror and or just to know if its DOA im 30mins away from having a new one. And I always price match to online stores.

The only product I have from them is the Razer Hammerhead Pros. They're good for what I like to listen to and doesn't break the bank. I haven't tried enough of their products to judge them properly. But so far the image in my head from them is more like the Apple of the PC world. Kind of. Sorry if I get any hate.

Never thought I'd say that til this happened, since then best buy has been price matching hard with me

Loved my Lachesis. It died and I bought a Taipan. Love their mice.

I like the Naga but me and my friends all had the same issue with it as after a while the left click would start to fail and it would cause double clicking

The newest deathadder is arguably one of the best mice for fps games right now.  I was skeptical until i tried it.

My DeathAdder and BlackWidow 2013 didn't fail me until now. Loving the mouse and the keyboard. It has a very minimalist design. Not too flashy like corsair.(I still want to buy a k70 RGB if I can )

I like Deathadders. I really dislike the snake orgy, but that's more from a showing it off perspective than actual use.
