Sensor issues on Mionix NAOS 8200

Element921

Every now and then, the sensor on my mouse just randomly fails to track anything correctly. The best way to describe it is it feels like it drops down to 50 DPI and only allows me to move diagonally. It works perfectly up until then. My mousepad is a Razer Goliathus 2013 Speed Edition, the wide version. These are my mouse settings and sensor settings:

Can I fix this issue, or should I just get a different mouse?

Try disabling "Refined mode". Re-run the surface quality analyzer tool and maybe try another surface. Laser mice tend to work better on hard pads, something that Mionix laser mice seem to be very sensitive about.

Disabling refined mode didn't seem to change anything, and unfortunately I have no hard mousepad to test it out on. I'll look into getting one and see if that fixes it, though.
