Hi there.

I think that the Black drive would suit excellent, because it designed for gaming and demanding apps. But in case you decide to go with the Red drive - it would work for a secondary drive, but it's meant for NAS and RAID environments, so for storage purpose I would suggest to go with WD Green, if you're looking mostly for storage purposes, or WD Blue, if you're planning to run some non-demanding programs and you don't need a lot of space.

Hiz guys i've upgraded my pc recently BUT then i realised wow my HDD is slow as hell and the RAM is only 600 Mhz on 1 stick but thats not Really the main problem for now.

Get a WD green or an other brand (seagate, toshiba, ...) whichever is cheaper of the size you need and maybe do an OS reinstall while you're at it.

If you like all your games installed I recommend you getting a Seagate 3 TB hard drive when they are on sale but other than that with you saying no to upgrading other stuff well no other recommendations to make I am afraid.

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

Get either Red, Blue or Black.

Reds/blue good for storage(music,tv,pictures), if its going to be for Games then a Black would be best due to the speed of the drive.

Black is like 80€ for 1TB Expensive my wallet hurts ;-; is the RED one just fine, i'm going to run most high-end games on my SSD anyway.

WOW wait http://www.mycom.be/componenten/interne-harde-schijf/514799/western-digital-black-1tb-35inch (MYCOM) is alot cheaper then the http://www.komplett.be/product/zkb-01com/20213629/western-digital-black-1tb/details.aspx (KOMPLETT) one :) 70 € sounds better for me.

How about the RAM guys???

F.y.i. as a sidenote... you should check and update the latest firmware for you 840 EVO and run the "Performance Restoration"-tool (if you haven't done so already).
