Alien: Isolation, Civ: Beyond earth, or Star Citizen? which one?

LaboonTheWhale

Hey all I'm not sure which game to invest in next.

Alien Isolation for $28

Civ beyond earth for $35

or Star Citizen for whatever basic package I can get.

Personal opinions? I'm really in the mood for whatever but I can't get them all!

If you want to play a full game soon, go for Civilization or Alien. If you're willing to wait for the full game, play some pre-alpha modules now, and assist in the development process, go for Star Citizen (full game probably won't be out till 2016 or so).

I would suggest Civilization or Star Citizen, but Alien just doesn't look like my type of game, so go with what you think you'll enjoy most.

Alien Isolation is the cheapest and the only one currently available. It's the only one I'd even consider recommending based on that. But you really couldn't have listed three games that were more different. Surely you must have some opinion which genre, at least, you're most interested in.

Star Citizen, in particular, is little more than a pre-order with a tech demo right now. There's not much reason to jump in early.

Always tell myself to only play civ 5 for an hour or so... always a big mistake

One more turn... Just one more turn.

I've got Civ: BE pre-ordered. I don't pre-order games but I know this game will keep me happy for 200+ hours.

Alien Isolation for $28

By the way, where are you finding Alien Isolation for $28? Maybe I'm blind, but the best I can find is on GMG for about $38.

Once you finish Alien Isolation, there's almost nothing/nothing to do, so you get more for the money with the other games (but it's awesome). Star Citizen is probably not launching until , I'd guess, Q1-2 2016. You can have fun with it for now, but don't expect to see much content, what is promised until launch envolves things never seen yet. Civ is strategy, if you like that kind of game, it's probably worth hundreds or even thousands of hours.

is this legit? I've never heard of this site. I've been looking on G2A and Nuuvem for a bit.

It's featured on both CDKeyPrices and Allkeyshop so I guess they are legit.

Either alien or Civ. Don't buy star citizen in it's current state.

I absolutely loved Civ V and Civ BE would be my choice, although I would wait for a sale.
