i did not have seen any price drops on intel cpu´s ever to be honnest.

 

if you can find a new 3770k for example, you still play the old price for it.

Arround the same as the current i7´s for example.

I can't really blame them. They'd have a pretty hard time selling new Core i3's if you could buy a Core i5-3770K for $125–150. They go for retiring SKUs rather than moving them down the product lineup.

ive used core i3...  was better than almost all of the amd with 567890 cores
