if you want it for gaming, the shield is much better. if you have a kepler gpu or higher, then you can stream games from your computer.

the nexus might be able to do it with an app(if not it is probably coming) but the shield will do it better.

if you want an all around tablet go for the nexus, since it will most likely get streaming too.

aha i sold my r9 290 while ago and going to buy gtx 970 soon , so Nvidia shield tablet is better for gaming right and i saw that the shield is 1920x1080 and the nexus 9 is 2048x1440 so games will have more fps on the 1080p screen right ?

Android games will run better on the lower res screen (assuming the processors are the same speed and assuming the game even takes advantage of the higher resolution)

Honestly I think the shield tablet is a better buy anyway, the stylus, game stream etc make it actually interesting not just another android device

This!

All these features make it go from a normal good tablet to something unique and good.

I believe the Shield is a quad-core K1 while the Nexus 9 is a dual core part.

It isn't.  The Nexus 9 is a dual-core K1. Project Denver, which is used in the N9 is dual-core.

I'm glad of that lol at first people where recommending Nexus, Nexus Nexus and after that I realised that Nexus was a family name not only one product and I've realised that not all Nexus products are that great. I think everybody heard about Nexus 7 lol

Apparently the Denver core performs better than the K1 in the Shield Tablet, but until it's benchmarked etc we won't know.  The GPU is the same though.
