Testing a new release time. Yes, it sucks for PST people.

This isn't a permanent thing as of yet.

Kind of sucks more for EST, 7AM is too late for me to stay up for :P

I guess their trying out a different target audience for the videos.

Blind and deaf people who wont notice the video not playing for multiple hours after the forum post :D I mean being disabled in any way is sad, but still.

I actually don't mind this, doesn't it match up with any NDA times? In other words, every video would release at 12:00 GMT.

Please review the BEYERDYNAMIC CUSTOM ONE PROs. I know people want to see this review because they are the only price to performance headphones that can stand up to the ATH M50s.

Oh god, the hitmarker. Prepare your r/montageparodies.

"M. Aronnax." replied the Canadian, "your arguments are rotten at the foundation. You speak in the future, 'We shall be there! we shall be here!' I speak in the present, 'We are here, and we must profit by it.'"

Having just watched the video, i may pick this up over the ssd in an enclosure i was talking about before. that's if the prices are reasonable here in australia...(which im highly doubting)

it really depends how quickly it can load games, namely battlefield 3 and 4.

depending on the price and performance. i may get one, or i will just put a 120gb ssd in a 2.5inch enclosure for $115

I recently placed an old 120gb OCZ SSD into a UASP enabled hdd enclosure and discovered something I didn't expect.  Other then the fact that it isn't that fast (it is only an OCZ), apparently SSD drives need more power then normal portable hard drives.   I can hook my WD My Passport drive directly to my tablet or phone via an OTG cable or to my Kingston Mobilite and they have no problems reading from those portable drives but they can't access the SSD drive.

A bit of a surprise as I was initially hoping to use this SSD as a portable solution for use with my tablet and phone.  A USB flash drive wouldn't have this problem.  Something to take into consideration.

OT and onto the release time of the video, 4am PST time is 9PM here in Australia so we're fine with the time of the release. :D   Of course, even if we weren't, we can always watch it at a later time.  Certainly won't kill us to wait.

it would only be for game loading on my laptop, which has 2 usb 3 ports, and 1 usb 2.0, and i know that sata3 is 6gb/s and usb 3.0 is only 5gb/s. but still, even usb 2 can still theoretically have read speeds up to 450mb/s, which is just below the speed of most ssds anyway.

What do you mean by older USB 3.0 ports, meaning I can't get the performance?

I was looking for an option to upgrade my laptop's storage and increase it's boot time, and i was wondering if this would be a viable option to use as a boot drive to run Windows 8.1 on my laptop and other applications?

Seeing the Mushkin version, I immediately regret buying the VisionTek. Not because the Mushkin is cheaper, but because it doesn't have a gigantic logo.

Because I am sleeping at 4am (have to sleep sometime...) and the discussion thread has to be in the description when the video is posted.

If there was a better way to do it, trust me, we would be doing it. Unfortunately we can't schedule posts on the forum.

You can schedule when it is opened as you can set it as locked until the video is ready :) so then people discuss the video rather than "Its not available"
