$1000-1200 Gaming PC Build?

scott7987

Wondering what a good $1000-1200 budget gaming PC build would be if:

I require no SSD/HDD as I have spares lying around

I already have a windows disc

I plan to be using 3 monitors (not included in budget)

Upgradability for future parts would be great

I would like to have a case or overall build with some cool aesthetics but if it's going to drive up the price a lot I'd get over it.

Any and all part suggestions are appreciated =)

You have lots of headroom for overclocks on both GPU and CPU and future upgrades.

Nope~ The thing is, the 980 is only about 10-15% faster than the 970, while being 220$ more expensive :P For 3 monitors setup 1 970 or 980 wont be able to handle all 3 monitors in demanding game anyway, you will need SLI for that. It's basically the same thing that happen with 780 and 780Ti before, not really worth going up if you are on tight budget, if you however have tons of budget then it's ok to get one :P
