Need to find a new monitor

TheGamingGrandmaster

Hi there I currently have a 24" Asus monitor with a max resolution of 1920x1080. My specs are:

gigabyte g1.sniper 5

Intel Core i7 - 4790 K

16 GB Kingston HyperX RAM

EVGA GTX 780 6gb superclocked edition

Corsair CX 750 M power supply

NZXT source 530 case

I want to know if I should invest in a monitor with a higher resolution because of the specs that I have (if so which resolution), or should I wait until I get a second gpu. All this considered I am looking to play at high to ultra settings. As well as using my pc for 3d modeling and charcter design as well as photogrammetry.

What you have can do 1440p gaming reasonably. I would get a Korean 1440p monitor like the Qnix QX2710.
