G510s or Blackwidow Ultimate mainly for gaming

What do you think I should pick? I mainly game on my PC, but I also am making a game as a hobby. I want the keyboard to have backlighting (any color). Also they are pretty much identical in price so I was wondering witch is better, mechanical or a lot of macro keys? I don't really have a problem with membrane, but I have never used a mechanical KB so I don't know the difference. Thanks in advance!

If you are not going to use marco keys then they are pointless, to me they are more important on a mouse. You are going to have to pay a little bit more if you want mechanical keys but in my opinion they are well worth it, I recommend browns.

Would love to, but unfortunately where I live I just don't have the opportunity to try them.

Huh, that sucks. There is really nowhere?

I guess you could buy the Blackwidow and see if you like it. If you don't, get the G510.

I'd go for a Logitech G710+, CM Storm Keyboards, Filco, WASD-keyboards.com or Ducky.

They're all mechanical with actual Cherry Switches, not that chinese junk Razer put into their BlackWidows and sells em for 500000% profit.

Frost upon these cigarettes.... lipstick on the window pane...
