So I'm in to find a couple of monitors

gergy008

I seriously, cannot decide.

I really want a hi-res 1440p monitor, but I also want high refresh rates.

I want a great quality IPS panel, but I also want great latency for gaming.

I actually considered getting two different panels at one point but I really like the look of matching panels.

I'm actually looking for a 1440p monitor now and a high refresh rate 1080p monitor now :D

So, I'll leave it for you guys to decide.

I play mainly games, but I also plug my MacBook in to do Uni work and stuff.

My budget is about £150-200 per monitor, and I know I won't get everything I want- but if you could help me find some options I can then decide from those which to get.

For high-res panels, latency is a must.

For 1080p panels, refresh rates is a must.

So I'm more up to getting a monitor with a high refresh rate, like 120hz gaming.

And, also a 1440p for MacBook stuff and programming etc.

I'm looking also I'm not getting you all to do my homework for me I just need some external opinions and stuff ;3

Cheers!

First and foremost, unless you plan on playing competitively in games such as CS:GO, 60Hz with a 5ms response time will be more than adequate. Second of which, £200 for a 1440p is a no go. Unless you plan on getting Korean monitors, stick to 1080p. Finally, for my suggestion, pick one from here: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/parts/monitor/#r=192001080&p=1&T=1,5&sort=a10&W=1700,2400&R=5,4, aesthetic choice is up to the individual deciding.

1440p is out, they cost too much. I know there is 144hz Benq monitors with 2x HDMI. I have one on order right now. They are great.

Okay so If I increase my budget to £150-£250 are there any high refresh rate monitors that are 120hz+ because PCPartPicker can't seem to differentiate between them
