Games to play with my little bro to make him bask in the light of GabeN and be saved?

Shroomster

So I am trying to get my little bro to get interested in gaming and especially PC gaming. Any suggestions on games. The kid is 6 and has no attention span if he does not like the game.

Try free to play games.

Warframe is a good one to get started on. Though I quit playing for the most part, it was fun for my near 500 hours or so.

minecraft xD

Heck yes. Other open games he might like are GMOD sandbox, Terraria, Starbound. PvZ garden warfare would also be good. Find other games which are not on Xbox or PS which he may like.

EDIT: Wynncraft is an awesome MMORPG server which I'm sure could get him hooked on PC games! IP: play.WynnCraft.com

Perhaps it's a bit too early for videogames.

He (or his parents) can buy GMod and Minecraft for 30 dollars (together, less for gmod in sale) and he can have endless amount of fun.

I will have to, as my parents are really old fashioned. (my mum said the PS2 is a machine from hell)

If he's playing and liking the Wii games then there's no real reason to "upgrade" him. All I meant when I said maybe it's a bit early is that balance is important. It's a slippery slope, going from gaming for fun to loving to game to needing to game. I've been there, once you get to the point in which games are better than anything the real world seems to offer you can't go back and it's not pretty trying to go forward from the point in which it all crashes down around you.

It is not that bad. He is just casually gaming. I was just thinking he might enjoy PC more, and the games are cheaper, so my wallet would too. And we are talking about a smart young man here :P (ofc).

Half-life 2 and episodes

Portal 1 & 2

Dota 2

CS:GO

The first two are for fun and to get into the swing of things, the second two are competitive try-hard games when you get used to PC-Gaming. If you play those two, be prepared to be roflstomped until you get better.

edit: wait, he's six? I don't know if that's old enough to play games like some of these. Stick to Portals 1 & 2 and Dota, unless I read that wrong.
