I'm sure that everyone agrees that the open back version looks terrible.

Might be ok, not sure I like the m50s for gaming

 

Looks ugly as hell do the open versions expensive considering the mic doenst look that great

 

the MMX300s come with a fantastic mic, shame they didnt do something like that

Ya, pretty expensive. 

I don't think it looks too ugly (for a gaming headset xD). I think the option to get rid of the red accents would make it look acceptable.

this may seem a bit strange to you others. but i think they both look particularly good.

The red one look cheap, jackie. The black looks better imo

the original M50 are pretty terrible for gaming because of limited soundstage.

When 2 things meet each other, Quantum stuff happens.

I like the open back one. looks sexy for me but hey that's my taste.

Can't be based off the M50 - the closed headset has a 44mm driver, and the open has a 40mm - both M50's have 45mm drivers.

They should have just given us a M50 with a detachable mic, inline controls and a braided cable. is it really that hard? Although, they still look better than Sennheiser's dedicated gaming headsets...*shots fired*

why do you have a rig with a i3 and a 780ti and then a rig with a 3930k and a titan black?

They look pretty good. But this somehow just makes me realize that Audio Technica haven't been dropping prices on Amazon the way Sennheiser or AKG have on their gaming headsets. 

 

As for these ones in particular, I'd need a review or personal sitdown time while A-B-C-ing them with some other cans.
