Hey guys. So I'm not really new here or anything, but I never properly introduced myself. So hey. My name is Anthony, I've been into tech my entire life. I really only got into computers when I was around 10, when my uncle built me one for Christmas. I've always been a gamer, but around 13, when I got into school that actually matters, I kinda stopped a bit. I'm getting back into it though. So, thanks for letting me be part of the community. If you guys wanna know anything about me, feel free to ask.

hello and welcome, although i will probably forget you considering there is a stupendous amount of people on this forum.

How old are you?

i wouldn't ask people to share personal information in the inter-webs. a 30 year old can seem like a 12 year old and a 12 year old can seem like a 20 year old when seen objectively through text, without all the personal bias.

Geez, it was a Pentium 3, less than a gig of RAM, and an old AGP video card. I don't know any more than that. I threw it away a long time ago, it stopped working, and it was before I knew how to troubleshoot.

is this against any rule somehow?

i don't care if the op doesn't care. I think it's not allowed to share personal information when you are under a certain age, i think they did that to cover the person in question and themselves, but that doesn't apply to you as much as it applies to the person asked. And i'm not even sure it's in the coc.

 

so tldr, most likely not. Just seemed abit blunt, but who am i to decide. My personal opinion is that age should more less irrelevant on the internet, atleast in a normal conversation between two sensible people. Laws and inappropriate topics aside.
