Is CS650M a good PSU ?

kizoku_95

Is Corsair CS650M a good replacement for my Cooler Master Thunder 500W PSU ?

My PC specs-

FX-6300 4.3 GHz @ 1.375V

Kingston Hyperx Blu 2X4GB @ 1866 MHz 1.65V

ASRock 970 Extreme 4 MoBo

HIS AMD HD 6670 875/1100MHz

WD Caviar Green 1TB HDD

Seagate 500GB HDD

I would like to upgrade my Graphics card after some time. Will the CS650M be fine ?

Help appreciated .

it's okay but the evga supernova g2 750W blows it and everything else out of the water at it's price point if you can bump up what you are willing to spend by a few dollars. If you want to replace you psu at least make it a big upgrade instead of a small one.

I am sorry :( Unfortunately evga psu's are the best psu's in america right now. The g2 series even blows away even the more expensive corsair rm series. It does not makes sense how they are able to sell such excellence at such a low cost.

I would love to use the love to use EVGA products and services only if they were available here !

If EVGA released its products in India too then I would just blindly pick up  their products and use it in my system .

EVGA Doesn't make their own power supplies you know that right? Just like Antec PSU's are mostly rebranded Seasonic's

Yeah, I know but their OEM is superflower. And super flower is amazing, but you bring up a point. he should probably look for some super flower psu's.
