Dead pixel

SmileAsTheyDie

Hello all, about a week ago i noticed a odd black spot on my screen. At first i thought it was a smudge on my screen but after closer examination it is a dead pixel. Is there anything that can be done to fix a dead pixel or is there no hope?

I think a pixel funeral is in order.

I had that once on my laptop screen, tried to rub it gently....it spread. Long story short i had to replace the screen, just let the pixel rest in piece.

Try returning it to the store. The manufacturer only takes the display back for RMA if there are clusters of dead pixels or if there are more than a certain number of them. I had a similar issue on my 4k panel and was able to get an instore replacement.
