Shield Tablet Controller?

legend8887

If it's for WiFi only then won't I have to get another controller (a Bluetooth one) when I'm not on WiFi?

No, the controller is Bluetooth.

It will work as long as it's connected and has batteries.

No, the controller is WiFi Direct.

It will work without a WiFi network, but it uses the same connection protocol as WiFi.

Really? Hmm. Still you don't need internet to use a controller. Lol.

Bluetooth is a little lower latency.

The controller uses Wifi Direct just like the Xbox One controller.

You can also use any Bluetooth HID controller with the tablet, just like with the Shield Portable.
