if you have a 770 a 970 isn't a massive upgrade especially for the price. Either go 980 or get another 770.

the gtx 770 is still a strong card, just wait for the next gen. lower a bit the graphcs, which i dnt think you need, but yea, hold yourself for a bit longer.

I agree, unless OP can sell the 770 and get some decent money back to even out the expense of a new video card.

lol we know this won't happen at least 95% of the time.

@OT get 970 and don't ever plan on sli unless you will do it 100% in 1 to 3 months.  since most likely something like this will happen

should I sli 970 or get single 999970/80

edit: 770 is still decent you can wait for the next one but If you get the upgrade itch that means forget everything and upgrade :)

Live your life like a dream.

If you already have a 770 I would just double up on it.

If you like the performance the 770 gives you currently, than SLI it, but if you can sell it for a good price, I would do that and get the 970. Than SLI in the future, the 980 isnt really worth irfor the price compared to SLI 970's.

So basically, either SLI the 770's or sell the 770 and get a 970 and SLI in the future
