good cooler?

alvez
Go to solution Solved by athesean1,

try to get the coolermaster hyper 212 evo, it is very good for its price here in australia and will probably save you some money in euros, but you might not get that 4.1 ghz

Hello guys im planing to get a better cooler than the stock one that comes with my i5 4690k, i want some suggestions in the 55 € range, air or water..

Im planing to get the cpu at 4.1 ghz not more than that, any suggestions are welcome. ;)

I say you better with H105 or H100i for the fans controller built-in but if you don't have the money, go with Hyper 212 EVO

Not sure if this will fit in your price range due to convert rate

Thermalright Macho120 + nf-p12(actually i think is the best choice)

be quiet Shadow Rock 2

or the evo 212

well it maybe good but it is still a cheap air cooler if you need something a lot more premium the go for an all in one water cooler liker the NZXT Kraken x61 or the corsair h100i

I have a 4670k, which is supposed to be a tad less overclock friendly and I have a 4.4ghz overclock with it in my system right now....which was the same thing I could get on a corsair h110. I could never recommend liquid cooling again because even with a cheap air cooler voltage became the limiting factor before temps.

Ryzen 3700x -Evga RTX 2080 Super- Msi x570 Gaming Edge - G.Skill Ripjaws 3600Mhz RAM - EVGA SuperNova G3 750W -500gb 970 Evo - 250Gb Samsung 850 Evo - 250Gb Samsung 840 Evo  - 4Tb WD Blue- NZXT h500 - ROG Swift PG348Q

i dont quite have money to get that ones, and im afraid my case cant fit one of those either... :|

ive been on two stores website like this one: http://www.globaldata.pt/index.aspx?p=ProdDetailRef&ProdRef=RR-212E-16PK-R#.VEZShKnrwzE

it doesnt say that i can use it on a 1150 , just on 1155 and other ones xD what the heck..

but in cooler master website it says it can be used on 1150 :o

anyways im not planing to overclock im saying 4.1 or 4.0...like i will not even overclock it more than 3.9 perhaps i just want it to be cooler as it is right now :)

For CPU coolers 1150 and 1155 are the same, you can notice the term 115X sometimes. The holes around the CPU to hold the cooler are made the same way, what change from 1155 to 1150 mainly is the way the electricity goes through the motherboard to the CPU

Yes.
