[Build Help] Jayr's GB 2.0

Hello! First of all thank you for clicking this post! all help is very much appreciated. Let's get started. My dad is retiring this year on December and hes planning on buying me my very first PC as a birthday gift (December 3) also as an early Christmas gift and graduation gift (which I'm going to graduate next year on march... hopefully). I don't want to make choices I will regret right after we bought the stuff thats why I'm asking you guys for help. Our budget is $2000-2230 (we can push it to 2400$). My priorities in this build are gaming (Duhhhhhhh), video editing, silent, large life span, and can achieve cool temperatures. I searched some things on the internet and- !

I'm not sure about the monitor but I'm planning on using dual monitors. I'm only using 1 monitor for gaming. and the other one like watching videos .. stuff like that ... MULTITASKING ! Again ! I'm open for suggestion !

With that budget you can get yourself a X99 build. GTX 970 save a lot and performance is close to the GTX 980. There are cheaper SSD out there, Samsung isn't the must have brand. With a K CPU, I assume you're going to OC. Get a better motherboard if your going to OC.

I recall you had a similar topic earlier today?

Yeah thats basically like the 1.2 build I planned. And now I'm having troubles with the monitor and the motherboard. I'm just gonna start things over
