video capturing and editing processor

Im thinking of recording gameplays and editing videos. I have decided to get a xeon e3 1245v3 which has 4 cores plus hyperthreading will it be enough?

Yes, it's a great cpu (basically a non-overclockable i7 for a lower price) and if you don't do this professionally it's probably plenty for your needs.

Why?

It is the same price as a 4790k.

Just buy a 4790k, it performs better and you can overclock it a lot more.

The only xeon worth getting instead of a core processor would be the xeon e3 1231v3 because it costs the same as an i5 but has 8 threads.

This is for people on a budget who cant afford an i7. You can, so just get the 4790k.

It is the exact same thing as an i7 except with a lower clock speed, no overclocking, and for the SAME price.
