looks bad and cheap, dont like it,so i will not buy it

Gross. IMO. Way ugly to me. Also, it's Asus and that means you will have the worst product support in the industry. Also, they have had higher-than-average failure rates lately. Just a warning.

The need to make it a normal shape and make the lights for the top look less like an IBM keyboard 10 years ago. Add a wrist rest and they'll be in the league with the K70 rgb keyboards.And oh my god remove those ugly keyboard buttons at the bottom.

It looks fine to me. If it was cheaper than the G710+ and was available on Amazon.com, I'd give it a try.

Even with my asian eyes, they are two very different looking keyboards.

I would say, if they reduce the macro keys to 1 columns (5 or 6 buttons) and allow us to change the backlighting I might try... but probably will think twice or thrice if K70 RGB is the contender.

 

the owl like shape is unique, but never been a fan of orange color and like somewhat said, the design is kinda in your face...... I didn't even know Strix was supposed to be orange....

Seems to me that the shape at the bottom will make it hard to use a wrist rest

i will be honest i really like it doesnt look as elegant as some, but for some reason i like it. wish it had other lighting modes doesnt even have to be rgb just like orange, white, blue, red, purple will be most for some

ROG is red and Strix is going to be orange? Not a fan of that "gaming" style, but I do like the concept behind the "Strix" moniker since owls are p. badass.
