I own this one: http://www.samsung.com/uk/consumer/smart-camera-camcorder/camcorders/camcorders/HMX-F90BP/XEU

I recall getting it for around $180-220, it has 720p recording and 52x zoom as well. I mount mine on a tripod, it works great. Only issues I've had with it is lighting, you will generally need an external light source because the colour deteriorates without a good source of light.

I will check it out, the place that we want to record at has decent natural lighting but we will still get a lamp and hook that up as well.

I opted for a 720p camera since I'm on ADSL and the upload speeds are incredibly slow.

HTC RE

Seems interesting but we were looking for something a bit different, like a camcorder or cheap DSLR

i doubt you can really find a dslr for that price with a lens. maybe need to buy a bridge camera, or compact

with that price i guess it's nearly impossible to find something else then a webcam, maybe you are able to find a compact(point-and-shoot) cam for that price if your lucky, but don't expect to much of it.

May the light have your back and your ISO low.
