Faster alternative to Raspberry Pi

Da9L

Currently i have a raspberry pi model b, which i believe is faulty as it shows red dots and flickers all the time.

So iam searching for an alternative to it. I need something that can run xbmc just as good and i hope to get one that is faster..

What should i get?

I believe there is one called the banana pi. Not sure on much about it, but I believe it is faster than the Raspberry pi and with a similar set-up. Don't quote me on that though, I may be wrong.

Banana Pi looks promising compared to the normal Raspberry Pi. Then i just need to figure out if it can run XBMC like the Raspberry does with RaspBMC
