Bring back start screen in Windows 10

For those of you that prefer the start screen over the new start menu in Windows 10, if you right click your taskbar and click properties and go to the "Start Menu" tab, you'll be able to change it back to the start screen.

remember its pre release things will change if people voice enough about there's probably a few complains about that icon now in the report thing

The start screen is useful for touchscreen users in the same way that the start menu is useful for mouse and keyboard users. Each has their own purpose.

The first one is just search, the second one is the icon version of alt f4 but with the new expose like look.

Yes, but not laptops/dekstops. 

 

/touchscreen on laptops is still stupid (unless its a convertible).

The touch (modern) interface of 8/8.1 is actually really good. It works great on a tablet. However, it's not optimized for mouse/kb combo. MS wants to use its OS on all platforms, desktops, laptops, tablets and smartphones alike. That is why they're keeping both.

Which is why they have the new Start menu? If you have a laptop/desktop then use the Start menu. If you have a tablet/convertible then use the Start screen. The option is there, you're not forced to use it.

Many people have laptops with touch screen... the start screen is pretty useful for them and it's quite cool, tbh (considering you leave all the hate behind and actually give it a try).

Is it just me... or do the new taskbar icons look ugly as hell?

Why is everything so square, I want beautiful round finishes, any possibility in making the "start" icon a nice round colored windows icon like in 7?
