Lag from hell

niel

I have a pretty nice rig but one problem is lag. I will run a frame counter and it never drops below 60 but I still get studders, it sometimes just feels laggy even though fraps says its not. Am I just going insane?

Well it happens mainly in BF4 CS:G0 and if I run minecraft with vsync is horrible. When I do run with vsync the drops to 59 fps are extremely noticeable. I don't think  video would even show it since youtube caps at 30 fps.

When it drops to 59 FPS it will cap itself at 30 FPS until it reaches back to 60 FPS. The best solution is to not use V-Sync.

When I don't use vsync it feels extremely choppy.

buy a higher than 60HZ display?

Not interested in spending several hundred for an issue like this. Is there really no fix?

Having a ~120HZ Display will help you fix this issue and will give you a better expedience.

Because he had a hard drive.

For games like BF4 I cannot hit 120 then it will feel choppy unless I lock to 60 I also dont have the money for a 120Hz

I could also deal with my house burning down but is that optimal?
