New Headphones (~100€)

I'm planning to buy new headphones for PC gaming and music (punk, rock, some mainstream). At the moment I use Sony MDR-XB500. They are the best I've ever heard, but I have to admit that I've never tried high-end headphones. I play FPS and adventures.

So I'm asking you for advise which die headphones I should buy. My budget sits around 100 EURO

MSI Z87-G41 onboard sound

Logitech G510s integrated Sound

Razer Sourround

Music:

4th gen. iPod touch

Sennheiser HD 558, they are AMAZING and go for 100$ (in euro i think its about 70????) in amazon and newegg

, they sound amazing in everything! they give good positional awareness in games and any music sounds good. I dont recommend traveling with these, they are big and dont cancel sound that much, and they are also open back style, thats what gives it pos. awareness in games  but cranck up the volume, and the guy next to you will be able to listen to your porn

They are soooo comfy, i use them all day and my ears dont hurt, nor sweat.

 

They are 50 ohm headphones, with your motherboard i think it will be fine but with the ipod i dont think it will reach its max potential due to the high power requierment, they will still sound good (even better with a headphone amp).

I just looked the Sennheiser hd558 up, but in Germany it costs 130€ on Amazon.

HD518 is pretty much as good as the 558 and should be under 100€.

They cost 83€ but I don't like the looks of them and I would prefer closed Headphones
