A good Looking Cabinet for HTPC.

Hi Everyone!

well this is my first thread and also my first build project.

I am looking for a Cabinet that resembles the look of DVD player or a media center (or is smooth black in looks)and supports DVD/blu-Ray drive vertically.

and since i want to keep the temperature and noise of the HTPC as low as possible , should i opt for a Liquid cooling system? because the temperature here in India goes as high as 40-45 Degree Celsius in summer.

since i wont be using the device for gaming , which is the ideal motherboard/processor so i don't need to add any dedicated GPU.

1) A cabinet that looks smooth and decent(also looks like a DVD/music system player)

2)Cooling system

3)Processor/motherboard

ill be using windows 8.1 with XBMC or just XBMC-Ubuntu

Thanks In Advance!

Hi MPX309

thanks for the reply but

NODE  605 although looks good but is too big.  iam looking for something that is bit sleeker.

And what should i choose for for processor and cooling system.

For cases have a look at anything Silverstone, mainly the GD or PL series, they seem to be the go to company for sleek looking HTPC cases.
You could also look at some mini-PCs like a NUC, Gigabyte Brix or Zotac, if you aren't doing anything too intensive and external USB DVD drives are an option if you really need it.

Every loud bang is a lesson learned.

I hardly have any use for DVDS drive, but wanted one for those occasional times, looks like gonna settle for NUC or some mini cabinets, thanks!
