Stupid question but is it "How many fps or how much fps?"

AMDftw99

My friend and are debating if it is "How many frames per second or how much frames per second?". I know I should be asking yahoo answers or something, but these forums have an awesome response time.

How many frames per second is correct, how much frames per second is not.

both are correct

That's like saying "How much ants" is correct.

It's how many frames per second. They are distinct quantities so you use "many".

Let the professional weigh in.

'How many FPS' is the correct terminology, as it's a way of counting them; 'how much FPS' is asking for an amount (i.e. a measurement), not a number.
