cpu idle temp 65

Go to solution Solved by alphabeta,

I found out that the problem is with the program I used to monitor the temp itself

Mobo msi 970A-G43

Cpu fx-6300

I opened the hardware monitor and found out that my cpu temp is 65 system temp 35

I wasn't gaming or doing something that is cpu intense before reading those numbers

Use AMD Overdrive to monitor AMD CPU temps. Seems to be the only software that gets it right.

Either you've not installed the cooler right, or the sensors are borked.

Sensors?

"The value for the CPU temperature of the (digital) on-chip sensor does not equal any real physical temperature but is measured on an AMD spezific scale"

Is thermal paste properly installed on your CPU? How much time you are using your system? Dust can interfare with heat sink's heat dissipation. Although you can try installing thermal compound or cleaning your CPU's heat sink.
