How to wipe SSD and reinstall windows

Zach99

Hello there,

Over the year I have owned my PC everything has gone great except for the accumulation of junkware making the rig really hard to use at this point. I want to completely wipe my SSD and re-install windows to make it more like a fresh PC. I have backed up all my important files from the SSD but I'm not sure where to go from there. First, how do I completely wipe an SSD so that it is like it just came from the factory? Second, when I re-install windows will the code work a second time or will I have to buy a new copy of the OS?

Thanks for any help!

-Zach

P.S. My ssd is a 250 GB samsung 840 EVO and the hard drive is a 1tb WD blue.
