10 things every PC gamer should own

The Gaige

I only agree on the part of having a screwdriver, a vacuum or some sort of compressed air. Controllers? Ew. No.

most of those things are for pro system builders, if you build your rig, you do need a magnetic screwdriver, its a requierment that anyone who has worked with pcs knows. a controller is simply for those who want to use a controller, i personally dont but i know people that do. ERGONOMIC GEAR IS SO IMPORTANT, ive had headphones, mice, and even keyboard that are SHIT, so yea thats important.

Agree with most but I'm not really a fan of magnetic screwdrivers in pc use. Also, a headlamp? Lol

Why would you need fraps? For all the reasons they stated, Shadow Play or Game Time(I think that's what AMD's variant is called) is a little less quality, but free.

I personally don't think fraps is necessary. OBS works just fine for me.

Keyboard sucks for something like a racing title, man. Don't be so bias. :P

Keyboard only sucks for Racing games and terrible console ports. And some platformers.

That list is bullshit, not everyone needs those things, in fact probably less than half the pc gaming community would need them.

Keyboard and mouse for most games, controller for racers, beat 'em ups and emulating things.

What, no lotion and tissues?

I like the headlamp, hadn't thought of that, and I like the little thing to go under the wrist on your mousing hand, I've been developing a callus where there where my wrist touches the desk, was beginning to wonder if that was normal lol

Controllers are good for certain games. Even if someone chooses to use a controller in games typically played with a mouse and keyboard, that shouldn't be held against them.

Please stop the ignorance. Use what you're comfortable with.

(this isn't directed at the OP, just the people who for some reason hate controllers)

Well obviously, you only play GRID and Dirt. Try a just slightly realistic racing game and you will be ready to throw your keyboard out the window. Hell even NFS Shift will change your mind.

It's not the stick that's the issue. I like having full control over throttle with triggers vs none at all with buttons. :P
